As for Edmund and the Sea Serpent -- I also thought he had quite an active imagination! :-) But I could see it making sense given the types of books the Pevensies would read. Thinking about it now, by having him picturing the Serpent as his worst fear, it shows that he's learned from his time with Jadis and that the Witch would NOT have been what he feared most.
Eustace going from Aslan's Table to the water -- yes! How the heck was he supposed to do that? That made no sense.
And Ben Barnes' accent I was fine with and did not notice once he started speaking but that's because we all knew it would be dropped. Also, I've been watching a few movies with him in it lately so it just naturally transitioned over.

Oh - I like how you say that, about Edmund knowing that Jadis is not his worst fear. Especially since the green mist was using her to "haunt" him. I really, really like that thought.
