I've just come back from seeing Voyage of the Dawn Treader for the second time, and I think I liked it a lot better this time around because I had enough time to formulate enough explanations for all the stupid plot devices throughout the movie.  For all that I really, really enjoyed the VDT movie, I just realized what it is that bugged me the most about it. I mean, besides the irritating and unexplained green mist.

The scenes were too short and abrupt. That, and they didn't feel connected in any way.

Which really has to be the best beginning to any book anywhere. Seriously.

So, I've been writing a Eustace one-shot since I watched VDT in the theatre on Friday. And while it's not done yet, I am loving the Eustace voice so much that I have to share a couple of the lines.

 JUST GOT BACK FROM SEEING VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER IN THEATRES AND I LOVED IT. I REALLY, REALLY LOVED IT.  I mean, there were parts obviously that I did not like, but as a whole, I LOVED IT.
