It's over a year and a half since I last wrote here. Some of the lag is due to Twitter's, and to a lesser extent Facebook's, overcoming my desires for net.social. But, more importantly I think, I deal with secrets every day of my life. Most of them are trivial secrets, nothing to see here, move along. La Daughter makes her public stage début tonight in an original play/rock musical written for this year's Halifax Fringe Festival by local digital animator and graphic novelist Dylan Edwards, The Overlord. Elizabeth May and the Train Wreck of the Green Party Campaign
I work for the NDP, so there's no doubt where my sympathies lie. But I've known Elizabeth casually for 25 years, and admired her work greatly.
But over the course of the past year and a half, I confess I've become thoroughly disenchanted. And her latest diatribe Friday in the Toronto Star was the final straw.

Halifax riding update
Megan Leslie won the nomination in Halifax federal riding tonight on the second ballot. The federal association membership is now over 1,000!
