I find it frustrating to try to write about my life here. So much of what I would have to say is work-related, and I cannot talk about my job - either for tactical/strategic reasons, or ones of Cabinet confidentiality. As one of the core political staff in our new government, an EA to a Minister, I have to be utterly, absolutely discreet.
What I will say is that I always have had work that stretched me, challenged me, intellectually and emotionally. But nothing, nothing has compared to the learning curve of becoming government - and the tremendously exciting possibilities that lie ahead.
