I *wish* it was a joke -- Tom Monaghan, the founder of Domino's, is one of the biggest supporters of the Dominionists (nothing to do with the pizza, just a coincidence), a fundamentalist Christian movement whose members read the Bible literally, believe that God has called them to take over the U.S. Government, and who are working to eliminate public schools.

Their brooklyn-style pizza rocks. What? Hey, I have conservative friends who don't vote with their pocketbooks, so I have eaten it to be polite -- but I won't pay for it.

Interesting. I'm a conservative and a right-winger but doing my own internet searching, it sounds a little extreme even for me. The taking over the government part I mean; free government is always the best. I do have my gripes about the schools but there are other schooling options for those who don't care for public schools.
