Lady Gaga & Elton John at the Grammies 2010

I like acoustic music much because it is so painfully naked. If not pruned to the best part of a song, at least the honesty in mistakes makes it certain that the music is actually about music. For everything else, we have auto tune :)

(To be fair, I guess Lady Gaga is uh kind of naked too.)

I was reading a post by one of my favourite musicians who stutters and was a little jealous at his gift of telling such ordinary stories so well in writing and in song. I was also reminded of a friend who can't hear so well but listens with all her heart. - - God does give more.

I had a story to tell today but I didn't dare to type it out and had nowhere to write it down. I wish I did. I hate to say this but I guess, I didn't dare to write it down either for I am not gifted with words.

Or - do stories speak for themselves?  - - that actions speak louder than words?
