My final exams for first year finished on Thursday. I had the practical exam on Tuesday, went alright, I screwed up in a few places, but I reckon I'll pass. Then we had the first of the two multiple choice question [MCQ] exams on Wednesday - and when I say multiple choice, I really do mean multiple choice - they give us so many options, it's untrue ( Read more... )

It's funny you should mention rain.. because it's raining cats and dogs (and beavers and monkeys and armadillos) here in London.

I've forgotten the model number of the phone I had until Friday afternoon.. it was a Nokia though and I'd had it for over two years. It was a good phone, but I like this new one better because it's one of those slip-up phones. And it has a camera.

Everything for a reason. You can't appreciate the good until you've tasted the bad. Let these results serve to motivate you the next time.

Have a good time in London (and of course be a good boy). There is so much to do there. The last time I was there was 2005 and I saw more than I had ever seen before. It's spendy, even compared to Newcastle I might venture to say, but you have a place to stay so that helps immensely.

The loss of the phone sucks in a very annoying sort of way. I was in Manchester two-weeks ago and I am always at a loss for conveniences, essentials now I guess. My cell phone works over there but it's the company's phone and costs and arm and a leg (found that out last August). After chatting with friends over there though the next time I will buy a phone and just top up the Sim card. I should have thought about that a long time ago. What piqued my interest was the last Bourne movie when he bought a phone at Waterloo station. If he can (with his memory loss) so can I, damn it, with mine!

Oh I was motivated enough for this assignment. I did NOT hand in a half-assed piece of work that I barely cared about, I put my heart and soul into the assignment and I deserved to get at the very least, a 'satisfactory'. I was very much ready to appreciate the good after all that hard work.

I feel like I haven't done that much in London - been to see the palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Tower of London, a few bridges, the British National Museum.. yeah that's about it. My friend took me to a few gay nightclubs, they were alright.
What I really wanna see from inside is St Paul's Cathedral.. it's so humongous on the outside!
