Oh, didn't know you were getting a new computer.

Though I'm not surprised, nobody tells me much of anything these days.

My iBook has been suffering for a few weeks. Had to talk it over with P before we lashed out for a new one ... I don't think I've mentioned it to anybody to be honest.

You sound angry at me - what's up?

oh and way cool....didn't know you were looking....this damned convention I went to over the last couple of days almost made me walk away thinking...you know what...I could do with a Mac.

Dual platform might just be the clincher for me!

Lol. That's so funny, because I was all "what the hell are they doing with intel in bloody macs? how am I supposed to run my OS9 now??!?"

What can I say ... I'm a purist!

Macs are love...and I don't know what to think about the Intel thing yet, though they seem to be doing pretty well with them. I was at the new Apple Store in NYC a few months ago and looked at them with my brother and his gf, and I liked the MacBook except for the shiny screen. I really strongly prefer the matte screen, but you don't get that option unless you're looking at the Pro (bah!). My brother is all over the dual-boot idea, since he's an architect and could use AutoCAD that way, but he bought his PB a few months before the MBPros came out, so he'll have to wait.

I dunno, I'm glad I bought my iBook just before they went Intel, at least for now, even if the new ones are faster. All because of the stupid screen.

(I gotta admit, I don't like the name "MacBook" nearly as much, either. Why did they feel compelled to change it???)
