No email, no website.
I have decided this is the final straw and I will probably be changing hosts.
Bear with me and please note that if you've sent anything important, it will not have got to me!

My webhosting upgraded me without asking and I lost a lot of emails in the change of smtp host. Sorry to those who slipped through the cracks. If it was important, try sending it again, now that I've got it sorted!

I might have email again ... maybe.

I'm in that limbo where my email might still be broken, or I'm just not being sent any.
Time will tell.

Meanwhile, I've realised two things:

1. I get a lot more done when I don't have email access.
2. Having a website is balls.

Still no actual email, but I do have login capabilities to my hosting service ... as soon as they process my domain name renewal.

It expired while they were cocking around with servers.

I'm still only contactable by LJ, phone, IM or skype.

I saw a post on my flist that made me think of my poor little Remington Portable #5 that's sitting languishing on my desk, in dire need of a new ribbon, a key alignment and some TLC ( Read more... )
