just got back from a night at the SLB (where they show free movies...).  saw a bunch of random ppl I know there, and met a girl from NYC, Queens to be exact....saw Just Like Heaven, and I must say, was pleasantly surprised at just how GOOD it was- didn't expect to be so thoroughly entertained....kinda makes one think about just where one's spirit ( Read more... )

It's amazing how close you can get to ppl when you spend nearly a total of 24 hrs in a car together.  Skiing in Boone was fun, but i'd have to say my favorite memories are not on the slopes.... funny how you can get so attached that you actually experience a few hrs of withdrawl syndrome once you're finally on your own again.

so for not writing in my journal in so long, i think it's only appropriate that this entry be exactly one month from my last (dec 11).  i am back in tally and after more than 3 wks in ft. laud, it feels good to have things back to normal?  yes indeed, this life has taken over as my "normal" one, and so it is very sad to think that it will be over ( Read more... )

in less than 48 hrs, i will be home.  that's almost unfathomable at the moment.  it is also unfathomable that in about 12 hrs i will be taking the astronomy exam, and in less than 24 hrs will be completely done with my first semester here.
