I have officially moved into my first apartment. There are still a few things I need to get to finish my room but I have the main necessities. Today was my last day of class! I had a Spanish final and will hopefully be making a B in the class if my teacher doesn´t screw me over. I will definitely have an A in history which is good. I am very bored and will be tomorrow too. I came home and took a siesta which was needed because I went to bed late and got up early. Even though I didn´t get to go to Buenos Aires this weekend I have still had a really good time in Córdoba. On Thursday I went with Dalena and both our speaking partners to eat dinner and then get ice cream. Last weekend was a little more relaxing than most. On Friday I went out to eat at this freaking awesome restaraunt with some friends and we didn´t leave there until about 1:30am because people eat so late here. So even though I am in Argentina and it is awesome, a lot of things are still the same. For instance, buses still suck to ride which is what I spent most of the weekend doing. Mountains look the same everywhere. Crappy hotels are still crappy no matter where you are. Poor people beg for money a lot. These are all things that I encountered this ( Read more... )

Tonight I am in the town of Jujuy in Argentina. We´ve been to the Quilems Ruins, Salta, and tomorrow we are going somewhere else. This is all in northern Argentina in the mountains so it is cold at night and in the morning but warmer than in Córdoba in the day. It is rather warm here today and very sunny outside as I sit in this cyber cafe downtown. The weather is weird because it will be freezing in the morning when I take the 50 minute bus ride and then hot in the afternoon. I guess it´s like desert weather except not in the desert.
