Yesterday, Ash showed up at the house dressed exactly like Thomas. While Thomas stood there, stunned, Ash took advantage of him with a sneak-attack-tickle.
It snows heavily, in the night. By the next morning, the yard is covered with a blanket of snow.

Simgaroop I swear I didn't do anything to the roof. I have no idea where the “leak” is, though I suspect that the game thinks the second floor is “open” because of the loft-style bedroom.
Thomas wants to serve a meal, so he prepares a hot breakfast of omelettes. At the table, he complains about the snowy weather.

George doesn't seem to mind it, though, since he goes to work barefoot. As a Dive Master, he's totally hardcore: his uniform calls for bare feet, and so bare feet it will be. He focuses on the work he'll be doing, today, to take his mind off the cold.
(Doesn't George have a cute bum?)
Thomas has his own way of coping with the weather.
Buying the bar means dipping into their vacation savings. Without it, though, I don't think Thomas will last until Thursday. He seems melancholy, today, so I want to cheer him up.
Meeting this want puts Thomas in a better mood. Before he even takes a drink, however, the bar impairs his judgement. The “buy a bar” want is replaced by the “be friends with Ash” want, again.
Thomas wraps up warmly and ventures outside. He builds a snowman autonomously, but it doesn't improve his opinion of the weather.
Only one thing can kick these winter blahs - retail therapy! Thomas calls a cab and heads downtown to The Corner Shoppes. See that little smile? He's feeling better already!
Thomas has some shopping to do before he leaves on that tropical vacation. I've only played this household through autumn and winter, so they literally have nothing to wear!
Thom is in luck. Shorts and tank-tops are out-of-season, but he's able to find some suitable outfits for himself and George.
Before heading home, Thomas plays a video game at The Corner's arcade. This is the first time that I've seen him looking happy, today.
His fun is short-lived, however. He loses track of the time and has to rush home to catch his carpool - which he misses. That means he has to walk to work through the cold and snow. As he's leaving, he greets a stray cat named Kobe. Amelia just happens to be walking by. She lingers long enough for Thom to invite her to step inside and see George.

Amelia plays with Kobe for a while, then heads indoors to warm up. As soon as he's alone, Kobe attacks the defenceless snowman.
George and Amelia spend a cozy evening together. It's leftovers for dinner, but Thom's lasagne tastes even better when it's re-heated.

I thought Amelia was looking at George rather warmly, so I checked her panel. Looks like Amelia is feeling flirtatious, tonight.
Over a game of chess, George mentions that Thomas has booked a vacation for the two of them.
Amelia doesn't want to talk about his trip, though. She's unhappy to hear that he'll be going away.
Meanwhile, the neighbourhood vandals have struck again. Someone (Kobe?) has knocked over the snowman. A passing penguin regrets the fact that Thomas had to go to work. If only he had been here to protect the snowman!
Thomas arrives home, just then. He's been promoted to Host! Now he can stop working at that burger joint and gain some experience at a real restaurant.
He brings Brandon Lilliard home with him. Now, Brandon thinks that germs and food go together, as we learned on
Day 03. It's rather disturbing (disgusting?) that he's in the Culinary track.
Thomas comforts the penguin before going inside.
It's getting late, so George says good night to Amelia. As he hugs her goodbye, he realizes how close they've become.
Their gaze lingers on each other after they part. As she walks away, Amelia can't help but think --
-- about how much she dislikes Thomas?! That's unexpected. Is she upset because he's taking George away for a few days? Or could there be another reason?
The phone rings at 11:30. It's Ash. Surprizingly, Thomas isn't too pleased to hear from him. He must be thinking about that funny business,
last night, when Ash showed up dressed like his twin and tickled him.
But Ash has another trick up his sleeve. He invites Thomas downtown on an outing.
Thomas wants to be friends with Ash, and this would be a good way to spend time together. Besides, he has the day off tomorrow, so it's all right if he stays out late. George has already gone to bed, but Thomas decides to head out on his own. He accepts Ash's invitation.
The taxi drops off the group at Lulu Lounge. Now, Thomas has wanted to give someone a gift all day. All he has in his inventory, though, is lemons. I decide that he can give one to Ash. It's winter, after all, so fresh fruit is a thoughtful gift, right? And Thomas grew it himself.
Ash receives it without smiling. He stares at for a long time before slowly adding it to his inventory. What a jerk! I hope he gets scurvy.
Thomas wants to DJ at the club. He gets the party started by spinning some tunes.
Kennedy Cox thinks that Thom's playlist sounds pretty good. Ash just ignores him, however. Thomas looks disappointed to see him walk away.
Ash isn't wasting his time on the dance floor. The real party is happening in the hot tub. Their nearly-naked fun is about to end, though.
Mrs. Crumplebottom singles out Ash for a scolding. She lectures him about his “public indecency.”
Reluctantly, Ash gets dressed. He feels a bit embarrassed about the scolding. To cheer him up, Thomas asks him what he'd like to do, now.
Ash wants to flirt, of course.
Thomas really wants Ash to be his friend. To please him - and to save an otherwise boring outing - Thomas charms Ash with a few soft words. As you can see, the outing is instantly more fun.
Things are going well, so Thomas asks Ash what he'd like to do next.
Ash says he'd like to get better-acquainted with George.
This totally kills the mood. Thomas has had enough of this crummy day. He says goodbye to everyone and goes home.
(While he's talking about George, though, Ash gets a crush on Thomas.)
When he gets home, Thomas suddenly remembers his promotion. His work hours have changed, so he no longer has the day off, tomorrow. Instead, he has to be at his new job, ready to seat patrons, at 10:00 in the morning.
Thomas has finally become friends with Ash, and something tells him that he should be happy. Ash continues to blow hot-and-cold with him, though. Does he really like Thomas? Or is he just using him to get to George? Tonight's outing leaves Thomas feeling exhausted and confused.
