The parental units have descended on the house

My parents came home this afternoon, bearing gifts. I was expecting some candy bars that I had requested, but not the amount that came home. Loads of the Cadbury candy bars. Mmmhmmm. In addition to that, I got a coloring book (yes, a coloring book) because my mom liked the Celtic designs in it (a lot are from the Book of Kells). I actually do ( Read more... )

jewelry routines are comforting. I've worn my One Ring pendant every day for years. maybe...oh, 10/365 days I'll wear something else (and 9 of those 10 days it's one of two chokers that I like with certain shirts).

I put my Celtic knot necklace on without even thinking about it. I'll randomly reach up to play with it during the day and the few days that I happen to not wear it, my fingers are always surprised that there's nothing there to play with other than my chins.
