My parents came home this afternoon, bearing gifts. I was expecting some candy bars that I had requested, but not the amount that came home. Loads of the Cadbury candy bars. Mmmhmmm. jewelry routines are comforting. I've worn my One Ring pendant every day for years. maybe...oh, 10/365 days I'll wear something else (and 9 of those 10 days it's one of two chokers that I like with certain shirts).

I put my Celtic knot necklace on without even thinking about it. I'll randomly reach up to play with it during the day and the few days that I happen to not wear it, my fingers are always surprised that there's nothing there to play with other than my chins.
