SNOW!!!! It started at lunch time, little flakes, and kept building throughout the afternoon until dismissal when the cars were all covered and the parking lot was covered and slippery and the flakes were HUGE. My parents came home this afternoon, bearing gifts. I was expecting some candy bars that I had requested, but not the amount that came home. Loads of the Cadbury candy bars. Mmmhmmm. If you ever have a chance to go to the Shady Maples Smorgasbord near Lancaster, PA, do it. All you can eat for $13 and the assortments of food is wonderful. I made myself nauseous with the make-it-yourself sundae. Then in the gift shop I found a mini stuffed goat and duck that make animal noises. Bought myself presents last night at Pier 1 with my handy-dandy employee discount. Got a papasan chair which I have wanted for years and a stuffed alligator pillow because it is just too cute. I’ve been eyeing it since I started working there.
