Where has my weekend gone?
If you ever have a chance to go to the Shady Maples Smorgasbord near Lancaster, PA, do it. All you can eat for $13 and the assortments of food is wonderful. I made myself nauseous with the make-it-yourself sundae. Then in the gift shop I found a mini stuffed goat and duck that make animal noises. I had to buy them because of Prodigy’s song “Full Throttle” on the Life Less Ordinary soundtrack. We’re convinced that it sounds like techno ducks, with an appearance by the techno goat. So now I have the techno goat and duck, which will accompany me in the Egg wherever I go. My family was confused as to why I was buying them. Yay for inside jokes.
I got mail today! Thanks to hallways for the Daredevil poster (I’m flattening it out under books at the moment) and the copy of Something For Kate’s Beautiful Sharks. From what I’ve listened to so far, it’s excellent. I’m always in the need for new music, so thank you much! Oh and that thing you couldn’t remember that you said you’d copy for me was Orlando’s appearance on the So Graham Norton show. And any other tidbits of the lovely man that you happen to have.
Dead tired. Working noon to 6pm tomorrow. Bleh. Takes up my whole day. But I don’t think this week is as full as last week with the homework and such so I’ll be better this week. Hopefully less cranky.
