Намедни, гуляя рядом с центром, обнаружил банкомат одного весьма известного банка, на котором, сопровождая родную надпись "возьмите чек", красовалась английская "take check".

An immediate problem with setting up Mint turned up almost at the first boot. The installation went ok, but upon the first start the monitor only supported 800*600 video mode, while Windows easily works at 1024*768. I tried to switch resolution manually in the Mint settings, but 800*600 was the maximum offered at the time.
