Goosebumps TV episode

I have this intense but hazy memory of being terrified by an episode of Goosebumps back when I was a wee one. I was convinced it was It Came From Beneath the Sink, but having re-watched it the scene I remember being so frightened by wasn't there.

Hmm it's not impossible but given that I came out of the experience with an intense fear of the Goosebumps logo I suspect not. Also I don't remember having heard of Are You Afraid of the Dark as a child (if it aired in the UK it wasn't on a channel I watched). Thanks, though!

I think are you afraid of the dark was on ITV back in the day! How I remember things like that and forget what I came into a room for, i'll never know!

I remember this basement one... and the last few scenes took place in a greenhouse/basement and there were plants and it was dark and smokey I think. There was a mad scientist and another exact duplicate (who was sane) and one of them was her actual dad and she had to fight off or extinguish the baddie, but she was unsure which one. ** I think it was Stay Out Of The Basement. Hopefully it's the same one you're thinking of.

It did occur to me after posting this that it might have been 'Stay Out of the Basement' cause I remember the book had a basement full of plants. I shall re-watch that episode and see if that's it. :) TY!
