We've googled and googled, but can't find anything about these. Does anyone know what language it is/what they say?

I believe (BELIEVE!) this is Viet. I don't understand it, though.

Check that; Thai, not Viet.

I just googled "Thai alphabet" and the chart looks like a less fancy version of the letters/symbols in the poster. The extent of my knowledge is google, so take it for what it's worth. ;)

Thanks! We looked at so many they all started to look like they *could* be it, but none were quite right.

It looks like something out of the Pacific. Polynesian, ancient Hawaiian, Easter Island. I vaguely remember something (possibly a post on this com) saying something about the U.S. having military bases on the islands during WWII and getting good local women in 'trouble' with their wild, wicked ways.

Nevermind! ^ - ^ I refound the post I was talking about (http://whatwasthatone.livejournal.com/4738086.html#comments), and it's something entirely different.

It looks like other people found the language anyway. Yay!

My guess is Thai. Whether it's right or not I have no idea. It's just what came to me as I was looking at it.
