fairy/dollhouse artist

When I was a child, my family mentioned/talked about an artist who made dollhouse-style rooms in trees and logs with lights and tiny furniture and figures. These may or may not have been out in the countryside for people to see (we live in England). tracy kane makes a lot of books about fairy houses, i don't know if she actually MAKES them though

I don't know if she's still around or not, but about 5-10 years ago this seller on ebay made amazing tiny fairy sculptures, and some had little "houses" (like tiny genie bottles, mushrooms, etc.). Her username, if I remember right, is faerielady. Some of her work would rake in $2-3,000 a piece, at least!

I'm not sure about dollhouse rooms in logs or trees, but I've been to a number of large dollhouse/miniature shows, and have seen lots of room boxes made in all sorts of containers (hollowed out books, tea cups, fish tanks, etc) so I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone was making them in logs. I'm not sure where you're at, but I think there's a big show in London every year, or you could try googling "miniature room boxes" and see what you find.
