Not sure how the printed copyright might fit in, but it's possible that what you have is a student reproduction. My great-grandmother was a painting student and she made several reproductions of famous religious works that differ slightly from the originals.

i have no suggestions, but i like yours a lot better. it's a lot more authentic looking, to me at least.

I was thinking the same thing. Authentic or not, it's more aesthetically pleasing to me.

I'll third that. Unless the lighting is completely different, the colors in yours seem a lot more like they belong in a church and less like in someone's home.

I don't know, but the image you have shows up here, for example, and it's for sale, so I guess it can't be an obscure student reproduction. Or something. I don't know :p

It looks like there's two different versions of the picture

With five minutes of looking around I found people selling both versions. I'm assuming that it's not the exact same painting you have and just another reproduction.
