Last week was ridiculously stressful for me at work. By the time Friday rolled around, the stressed had finally picked and I nearly lost my mind at 1:00 (Emily can vouche for this!). one of the things i love about sundays is having wonderful comfort food. it makes the day so much more happier.....and gives me something to look forward to up until it's nearly time for bed. yesterday was no exception. bob treated me to a wonderful dinner of handmade gnocchi, bolognese sauce, sauteed spinach.....and later on homemade coconut cream ( Read more... )

a few weeks ago my sister molly was visiting and we journeyed over to one of our very favorite restaurants and hookah bar (though we do not participate in the hookah - this probably makes us lame, but the food is just amazing and we really don't care!) we always get a feast at the casbah.......and we always polish off everything. ( i never feel too full or heavy after this type of cuisine....which makes it even better! )

Emily visited at the beginning of October for Columbus Day weekend. We had planned a birthday dinner for her at La Casa de Pedro in Watertown.
