since I posted anything substantial! I've gone to a big MeetIn event, "Flower Power Anniversary Party", a bunch of craft shows, a big dinner out at McCormick & Schmick's. I've looked at the Honda Fit, but they are a couple thousand more in cost, don't have the side-impact airbags that I want, and they are in tight demand. The Yaris gets much better gas mileage too. I've seen a ton of consumer reviews where folks have been getting about 43-46 mpg on the freeway with their Yaris, and since my commute is 46 miles round trip, MPG is kind of a huge deal to me at the moment.
