I think she'll be very happy with the college students, as they'll be able to give her more attention and will have more people around... and she'll be an only kitty ( Read more... )

Awww...it's sad that you had to give her away, but hopefully things will go well with her new family. I hope Snickers feels better, too.

I don't know if I could be a foster mum - they'd all be permanent.

Well this wasn't an intentional foster. My parents rescued her, and then gave her to me. I tried to make it work for about 14 months... but it was obviously not working.. and with nobody in the house during the day, Precious kept jumping the baby-gates and Snickers kept getting more wounds and more freaked out.

It would have been great if I had been able to make them be friends, but sending her to another great home was the next best thing.

Thanks. Me too. She's still skittish and hesitant to leave the bedroom.. but I'm sure that will decrease as soon as i can get more Feliway in the house!
