Lovely evening tonight with some out of towners

I met up with G & C from San Diego for dinner and dessert tonight. They are CFers visiting Portland with an eye to moving here from San Diego. I answered a ton of questions on neighborhoods, etcetera, and they treated to dinner and gave me a ride home. I think they are meeting folks individually. I can forward you his email, so you can contact him directly... I saw your post on LJ regarding it. They're still up for doing stuff each day they are here.
