Heh, I swear I get so much inspiration from reading the news and just following up on foreign policy. XD It's so much fun and I've become kinda addicted to EU politics, now that I want to move there. And England's relationship Europe is just so...funny.
That's a good point about the notes -- I totally forgot that the acronyms aren't commonly seen, thanks. :P And I'm glad it's not offensive, I became paranoid after reading too many scathing comments from northern vs southern Europe. :)
Yes, I really want to write more France/Germany! (And the EU, ahah)

You're right that if the abbreviations were more commonly known, you could have put the notes at the bottom. Either that, or you could have explained it in context? At any rate, I think you made it clear that it wasn't actually you using those acronyms, and anyway you don't approve of using them, so :) I don't think you'll have a problem.
Clearly you're good at writing all the characters, so :D

I think people were proposing replacements like GIPSI or PIGIES. I doubt that last one would go over well, even if some people considered it cute. XP
Thank you. ;)

Very funny new chapter in the end, I'm looking forward for more. You can put current political topics into Hetalia fanfiction really well.
I missed yelling at Greece about him being to lazzy a bit because around here, it's currently the main toppic in the news, but maybe in the next chapter ...?
Just one thing you might find interesting: afaik, Sweden is to join the Euro memberstates soon, as are all other EU members without the Euro besides Denmark and the UK.

And thank you! :)
Yeah, I totally forgot to include the Greece stuff -- I'll be incorporating that next chapter. :P I've actually heard that a couple of German newspapers cover EU-related news really well, so it'd be awesome to follow that, but unfortunately, I can't read German. :(
Huh, I didn't know that about Sweden. :P Sweden is joining his wife, ahaha.

Uhm, I think, tagesschau.de and spiegel.de both have English versions where some of the articles are translated so you could check that out.
Sadly, FAZ and Sueddeutsch don't have English versions, which is bad because they are the best newspapers I know.

a mention of IMF in future chapters would be much loved <3

The EU is really such a fun cast to write about -- crazy range of personalities having to resolve things peacefully. I'm always surprised I don't see more about them. :P
*cough* haha, cool, I'll try to incorporate the IMF stuff in the next chapter. :)
