This time seems to come way more often than being at home. It has to do with me being 'retired' every other month and enjoying that so much. I can't get over how bad the food has become here this rotation. I thought it would be a transient thing, but it continues to worsen. There is a new cook/chef. They are always European and think that they have to chef'ize things. So, they add strange herbs, curries, etc. They try to make haute cuisine out of frozen, cheap cantina food. Been sorta busy here. This past week has been very physical for me. I have two nationals working and the three of us are digging 9ft deep holes to plant chemical grounding rods, along with trenches to connect them. Very tiring. But, I have always liked physical labor. To work with your hands is instant feedback. That is probably why Lynn likes ( Read more... )
