For a 200 person wedding with a considerable amount of those people the dancing type, what size dance floor should we rent? My mom thinks 18x18ft is good, that seems tiny to me! I don't want it too big, either though... whattya thing?

my FH and i attended 2 weddings last month, and both had DJs and both dances fizzled down to a drunk groomsman (air guitaring with his tie around his head rambo style) within the first hour.  this led us to question whether or not we should bother with the trouble/cost of having a dance beyond an ipod set up for the first dance. let me know what ( Read more... )

We're going to do the Father-Daughter Dance and the Mother-Son Dance. thanks guys for your suggestions, but i think i need to reword my question. is anyone not having any dancing at all at their reception? if so, what are you guys going to do instead?
