Okay, so my FH and I have been set for years on a cake of different gaming consoles, like for instance the NES, game cube, ps3, and wii. Hmmm, Holly was it? I would say go for it, it's your wedding and I've seen plenty of people in the comm go all out with a theme. I think it'd be cute.

You know your guests as a whole better than anyone else so only you can really answer whether it would go over well with them :) But, if it would make you happy, then go for it - because quite frankly, the guests are not paying for the decor and they are there to celebrate with you, not to show up and see what you did and didn't do traditionally.

I think that is an awesome idea!!!! I love it when people personalize their weddings to their likes. People are never going to forget your wedding.
