LOL, that's awesome. I told my mom and she had no idea what bocce ball was-I sent her a wikapedia link, so I hope she gets it!

This seems like a really stupid question on my part, but are you going to wear the engagement ring and wedding ring together?

If so, I would worry about mixing stones and overshadowing things. If you are just going with the wedding band and switching the engagement ring to your right hand, then no worries about size or stone mixing.

Yeah- moissanite is not going to look like the diamond when they are put next to each other.

I didn't even think about that-I'm going to see if I can get an idea. I only recently learned you aren't "supposed" to mix metals but I didn't think mixing stones would be a bad idea or may not look right. Thank you!

Thank you! I am planning on wearing them together, but I didn't even think about what they would look like next to each other.

I think I am going to go to JCPenny's or a retailer to see what they look like next to each other. If I don't like it, I will most likely go with a plain band and get a diamond one on our anniversary or something.

Thank you! LOL, that episode in your icon is hysterical. My favorite line? "That's the seventh nipple I've seen today..."

Moissanite Co is awesome but I see what you mean about it being a little large. If I were you, I would email them (the owners--MikeC and MrsMikeC--also frequent this board here http://www.betterthandiamond.com/discussion/ubbthreads.php and are super friendly and very responsive) and see if they can maybe do a similar but smaller ring so it will match better with your engagement ring. Also, it's true as someone mentioned above that diamonds and moissanite sometimes clash together BUT Moissanite Co now offers enhanced moissanite that is whiter and more "diamond-like" so that might be a good option. The enhanced moissy are not listed on their website but they do have them available...you just have to contact them.

Sorry didn't mean to write so much...I guess I'm just passionate about moissanite lol ^_^

No! Please don't apologize-that's good to know! I made the decision to look into Moissanite recently, but still have a lot to learn. I wanted a conflict-free diamond, but the rings from Brilliant Earth (and other said sites) are beautiful but expensive.

Have you seen the enhanced stones they offer? I am curious now, but thank you for letting me know the owners are involved and friendly about it. Thanks again!

Yes they posted some comparison pics recently...they look gorgeous. I have a three stone moissanite engagement ring already and it looks awesome but if I ever upgrade it will definitely be to enhanced moissanite. You can see the comparison pics here http://betterthandiamond.com/discussion/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Main/31889/Number/495468#Post495468

Thank you-I can see the difference! Do you know if the ownes of Moissanite Co. own Asha Diamonds as well? I saw on MrsMike_C's signature that she listed hyperlinks to Moissanite Co.'s website and Asha Diamonds. I actually found the same exact setting as the one I fell in love with above, but with smaller stones on Asha Diamonds :D
