My First Progress Post! Yay!
I am procrastinating housework, BUT I am so excited because we actually decided on a venue and put down a deposit yesterday! wOot!
Venue:
After seeking advice on this AND this FH and I had to make a choice. So we chose to walk away and see if we could find another venue.
As I began random Google searches, I came across a wedding website advertising a place called Pinstripes with this picture:

Intrigued, I got in touch with the events manager, so last weekend we took a tour. It was more amazing in person!
Front:
Inside Front Desk
Wine Cellar
Outdoor Bocce Ball Courts
Outdoor Patio just to the right of the courts
Bar facing the outdoor patio
Seating next to the courts:
We are having a pasta, salad and gelato station, cake and then play Bocce Ball for the rest of the night with an open bar, of course :D
The two coordinators at this place are AMAZING, prompt, professional and all around great-I requested a proposal yesterday and they turned it around yesterday afternoon, which was a lovely surprise!
This place also does ceremonies at a wetland area about 5 minutes away-it is pretty but it was dreary when we went to check it out
We wll be using an indoor space at Pinstripes if it is crappy out.
Colors & Invites
based off these but I am making the invites myself with the liners and such (we are only having 40 or so guests, so not a big deal)

It's a 1.03 carat diamond that is 4 generations old from FH's side of the family. His mom had it and was waiting to give it to him-she said she wanted me to have it. She's awesome and I love her very, very much.
Okay, so I have so much more post, but this is already getting insanely long, so I just have one question for all you brides that have already picked out your wedding bands: If you got a gemstone wedding band, how big are the gemstones?
I decided that I wanted a Moissanite wedding band after going back and reading all the tagged entries here. I fell in love with this one but it's actually larger than my engagement ring. Would that look weird? I don't want to outshine my shiny, but I didn't see many other options for wedding bands. Any suggestions? Thanks if you got this far! ♥
