For the first time in 2 weeks the cats went out today. The feline response to the new 50% less garden has been sad to witness. Daisy looked about her in wide eyed horror before investigating rather scared. Rosie had a small look about but cried a lot and came in. Rain escaped past my carer so I didn't see her reaction to it but Phoebe escaped past me. Poor Rosie was at the vets today as her feline colitis has been making her very ill (and malodorous 😷) so she's had antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, my parents had to take her. They then learnt that the vet who helped Tobacco pass into the next world so peacefully and was there for me too, had already taken him off the register so I wouldn't ( Read more... )

Rosie keeps a watch by Tobacco. He seems to be going quite deaf as well as blind. He still came down for food and a good face wash then found his way back but struggles to climb. It isn't long now.
