I acquired this thing for a reason, so I might as well use it. Besides, it seems to me that owls have gone out of fashion. They certainly seem to be coming less frequently than they used to, especially from my boys. It WOULD be nice to hear how they're doing every so often, but I suppose if they want to leave their mother - the woman who spent the ( Read more... )

Mum,
Sorry about not owling you or anything lately. Been busy at work-- perhaps, I'll stop by and help you with those gnomes later this week. As strange as it may be, I actually don't mind de-gnoming. What with- never mind. I'll stop by.

I'd really appreciate that, Charlie. I've never been as good at catching the little monsters as you boys. And it would be good to see you. Make sure you're not overworking yourself, and that you're eating properly.

Love,
Molly

Mum,
Don't worry about me. And may I ask something? And please, don't think me pretentious. I was wondering why you signed as 'Molly'. I do understand it's your name. Hah- no, but well, it just sounds odd, I suppose. Anyway, I'll owl you when I'm on my way.

Love,
C

Heh. Don't worry about it, dear. I was just wondering that myself. Don't worry. I will forever be your mum.

I have long since held a great deal of admiration for your unique skill with use of the Howler. I now must add to my list your talent for using guilt as a tool for manipulation. Bravo. It appears to be eminently successful.

Loathe as I am to lose the entertainment value and personal educational merit of such talent as yours, I feel obliged to caution you, as I have done with so many others of late. It is only prudent to make use of the security features of your journal. I am not the only Death Eater with access to these devices, and I suspect the Malfoys and Bellatrix Lestrange would be less appreciative of the work of a true Master than I am.

Most Sincerely,
S. Snape

It's all in the execution, but I'm sure you know that.

And thank you for the concern, Severus. I'll certainly be more careful from now on. Lucius is one of the last people I'd want to have access to my thoughts.

Love,
Molly

Mrs. Weasley,

Ron's been really busy helping me...with things. Like cleaning Grimmauld Place and such. Yeah, been really busy with those things. He's going to owe me if this actually works in getting him out of trouble with you. I know he's been wanting to come see you.

Maybe Hermione and I can come along when he next visits? I know she'd love to see you too and I haven't had a chance since I was by with Ginny last week. Merlin, I hope you didn't see that article.

Busy with things, hm? Harry, dear, you never were a good liar. But don't worry about it. As long as you boys are safe, healthy, eating correctly, and spend the time to drop me a line now and then, I'm happy.

And that sounds wonderful, dear! You know I would love to have both you and Hermione over along with Ron. You're both like my own, after all, and I worry about you both the same way I do all of them.

And speaking of Ginny... That article, dear. You know I learned my lesson about believing gossip straight out with all that Rita Skeeter stuff, but I just have to ask... Any potential there? Even the remotest chance? You know I would love to be able to officially call you my son.

Love,
Molly

Sorry, Mrs. Weasley. You know I had to try. We are both safe, and on the mend. Hermione and Dobby make sure we're eating, so don't worry. I know you will anyways. I'll make sure Ron writes more. Me too.

Thank you, Mrs. Weasley. You and Mr. Weasley have always treated me like family and I appreciate it. I'm looking forward to coming to The Burrow for another visit. I'll check with Ron & Hermione and see when we can all make it.

So, you did see it. Yeah, well...Ginny had asked me to go shopping with her. You know how the press exaggerates everything. We're friends, is all. It's not that I...but with the way things have happened...and before...Merlin, you're her MOTHER! And I'm only 19! You want us to get ma- I'm only 19! Maybe you should talk to Ginny.

You know Arthur and I consider you like a seventh son. Well, sixth now, but I digress...

I'll think about it. It might be best not to press the issue with her at the moment. Her brothers more than likely have already asked her enough questions she's on her last nerve. And an angry, stressed Ginny is not something I want to deal with at the moment... Well, ever, really. But I'm sure you know all about that, dear.

Love,
Molly

It's been ages. I almost don't want to count how long; it'll just make me feel old. I don't suppose you'll remember much of me, either way, but I'm glad to see you've gotten the way of these things, too. Having met your Ginny recently on an outing with one Nymphadora Tonks, I was wondering when I might get in touch with you again.

So, how are you? How's the family?

Raithen? I haven't seen you in ages! Has to be near twenty years by now. I don't think I'd had Ron yet when I saw you last. How have you been?

I'm all right. Had more than enough to tax my nerves lately. And the family's as well as can be, considering. I lost one of my boys during the war, but it was a loss I was expecting, having lost Giddy and Fab during the first one. Doesn't mean it hurts any less, though.

I'm so sorry to hear of your recent misfortune, though I can partly empathize at least, through Gideon. At least the war is over, however.

And there is a bit to look foward to now, isn't there? I recently recieved an invitation to a gala at Hogwarts; I'm assuming you've gotten one too and will be attending?
