I acquired this thing for a reason, so I might as well use it. Besides, it seems to me that owls have gone out of fashion. They certainly seem to be coming less frequently than they used to, especially from my boys. It WOULD be nice to hear how they're doing every so often, but I suppose if they want to leave their mother - the woman who spent the ( Read more... )

Mrs. Weasley,

Ron's been really busy helping me...with things. Like cleaning Grimmauld Place and such. Yeah, been really busy with those things. He's going to owe me if this actually works in getting him out of trouble with you. I know he's been wanting to come see you.

Maybe Hermione and I can come along when he next visits? I know she'd love to see you too and I haven't had a chance since I was by with Ginny last week. Merlin, I hope you didn't see that article.

Busy with things, hm? Harry, dear, you never were a good liar. But don't worry about it. As long as you boys are safe, healthy, eating correctly, and spend the time to drop me a line now and then, I'm happy.

And that sounds wonderful, dear! You know I would love to have both you and Hermione over along with Ron. You're both like my own, after all, and I worry about you both the same way I do all of them.

And speaking of Ginny... That article, dear. You know I learned my lesson about believing gossip straight out with all that Rita Skeeter stuff, but I just have to ask... Any potential there? Even the remotest chance? You know I would love to be able to officially call you my son.

Love,
Molly

Sorry, Mrs. Weasley. You know I had to try. We are both safe, and on the mend. Hermione and Dobby make sure we're eating, so don't worry. I know you will anyways. I'll make sure Ron writes more. Me too.

Thank you, Mrs. Weasley. You and Mr. Weasley have always treated me like family and I appreciate it. I'm looking forward to coming to The Burrow for another visit. I'll check with Ron & Hermione and see when we can all make it.

So, you did see it. Yeah, well...Ginny had asked me to go shopping with her. You know how the press exaggerates everything. We're friends, is all. It's not that I...but with the way things have happened...and before...Merlin, you're her MOTHER! And I'm only 19! You want us to get ma- I'm only 19! Maybe you should talk to Ginny.

You know Arthur and I consider you like a seventh son. Well, sixth now, but I digress...

I'll think about it. It might be best not to press the issue with her at the moment. Her brothers more than likely have already asked her enough questions she's on her last nerve. And an angry, stressed Ginny is not something I want to deal with at the moment... Well, ever, really. But I'm sure you know all about that, dear.

Love,
Molly

I know. Am I supposed to say something here? I never know what to say. I never got a chance to say I'm sorry about Percy. He was a good bloke man. If I had been there, I would have tried to...yeah. You should be proud of him.

You are a wise woman, Mrs. Weasley. Yes, I do know all about dealing with an angry, stressed Ginny. I don't blame you for avoiding it, although you probably know how to deal with her when she gets like that better than I do. Well, besides not getting her angry or stressed in the first place. Someday I'll understand why girls are so mental.

He was, and I will always be proud of him. And don't trouble yourself over it, dear. You had enough to worry about.

And there's a trick to it, and it involves being able to read her moods, the fluxes in them, and avoiding saying anything extremely stupid when her mood level drops. It takes years of practice. I don't even have it perfected yet. Just pay attention to her, dear, and you'll pick up on it eventually. You're a bright boy.

I'll try to remember that, Mrs. Weasley. At the rate I'm going, I'll be getting plenty of practice in. I can't seem to read her moods for shite at all. And I'm rather good at saying stupid things. But then again, I've never been very good around girls. Ginny especially. I'll keep at it though, Mrs. Weasley - because Ginny and I are friends...and friends should be able to read each other's moods. Thank you for the advice.
