We had a good xmas day - invaded by the boy's four kids - got a mixture of pressies. I hope everyone else who celebrates had a good day

we were lucky with storm eva - now we've got frank - seems to be a never ending sequence atm (and sadly they picked your name for their F storm :/)

Glad to hear you had a good holiday! But not so much to wake up by a flood alarm- hopefully nothing too bad happened?

We escaped the worst - midnight high tide was evil, but we survived eva without flooding (either side of the pennines got the worst of it sadly) - now it just seems to be one storm after another though :(

Ugh, that might be even worse than a single bad storm- I'm hopping that the continual storms aren't posing too much risk of doing much damage?

we're on 'the north of england and the south of scotland would like no more rain please' point sadly (and there are more storms coming yay :/)

but new year's eve is being semi kind so far, even if we have had rain
