[Hey, Knux, there's a big ol' metal ball nestled between some trees as you get closer to the village. It looks vaguely like a giant eyeball; it's white, with a steel-colored "iris" and a window for a pupil. Whatever's past the window is a slightly-pinkish red.]
[Strange metal things in the middle of the woods tend to lead to bad things, especially when they're somewhat oval in shape. Knuckles frowns. He's pretty sure he's going to regret this... Still, Knuckles, now hiding that limp the best he can, starts making his way to the sphere.]
[It... doesn't do anything. Nothing to sphere here. /shot]
[If Knuckles were to look through the window, though... amongst some kind of red gelatinous material is a person, hooked up to countless tubes and cables. His eyes are closed, but it's hard to tell exactly why. Is he in some sort of distress?]
[Fortunately there's a rock in front of the un-sphere-some sphere Knuckles can stand on to get a look in though the window... And that guy doesn't look too good. Maybe he should break the guy out?]
Hey? Hey you okay in there?! [Knuckles gives the sphere a good hard and hopefully loud punch for good measure.]
[Rydia doesn't stray too far from the village during this part of the cycle, but she can and will wander the edges, hoping to spot New Feathers. If she can help them a little earlier, why not?
Upon seeing someone she doesn't recognize, and limping at that, a concerned Rydia starts forward.]
[Knuckles glances up when he sees the woman coming towards him. He's a little surprised that she's human. He had expected to come across more turtles like Donatello when he reached the village, but it doesn't really make any difference to the echidna. He'll keep moving and, stubborn little thing he is, forces himself to walk normally as she approaches.]
Is that- it's totally a small red person and that person is decidedly not human and that means they are of interest as she's in her jog around town. Thus, she's going to race on over]
