I did manage to sneak in two TOS episodes recently! "Patterns of Force" and "The Galileo Seven." I see what you mean now about Spock not actually understanding that much about human nature. I feel like Reboot Spock is much more aware - probably because of his interaction with Nyota. I'll have to think more about this. I'm having trouble reconciling Reboot and TOS Spock - granted, they belong to different universes but the difference is greater than I thought it was based on my previous limited exposure to TOS. And zooomg are they *mean* to Spock. :( Must fix with fic...
