Loved it! Love Gaila's POV and her confusion about Nyota's confusion about the difference between seeing someone naked and having sex. I think Gaila may now be S/U shipper too. That's bound to be funny. I', eager to see where you take it. Thanks.

Haha, I didn't think about it that way but yes, she is an S/U shipper as well! Thanks for dropping by!

Woo hoo for this post! I'm soo glad that Nyota and Gaila got to actually spend time to get to know each other better and create a truce. Now maybe Gaila and Nyota can work on strengthen their friendship and Spock and Nyota can get closer! Yeah!

LOL. I love the “brain crush”. Loved the confused Spock at the end too. Keep it coming!

Welcome back! Although I've been away as well-- very much RL going on.

I continue to love seeing the world, and Spock, through Gaila's perspective. I savor each installment as it comes across.

Thanks for your Help Haiti fanfic auction. I hope you raise lots of dough.

Cheers!

Yes, I'm afraid RL has been interfering with my writing and will continue to do so in February. But disasters don't arrive at convenient times, do they? I don't know if I'll raise much money but I'll be donating directly anyway. Whatever I can do to help!

I did manage to sneak in two TOS episodes recently! "Patterns of Force" and "The Galileo Seven." I see what you mean now about Spock not actually understanding that much about human nature. I feel like Reboot Spock is much more aware - probably because of his interaction with Nyota. I'll have to think more about this. I'm having trouble reconciling Reboot and TOS Spock - granted, they belong to different universes but the difference is greater than I thought it was based on my previous limited exposure to TOS. And zooomg are they *mean* to Spock. :( Must fix with fic...

i love matchmaker Gaila, she's soo shamelessly obvious.
(question, you don't write slash, but would you be willing to have slash background pairings?)

For a good cause, I think I can manage. :) But what do you have in mind exactly?

Gaila is not the kind of girl to engage in subterfuge - unless necessary. Thanks or reviewing!

I was thinking something along the line of main characters seeing a slash couple and thinking 'dear God, just hook up already', 'Aw, they're soo cute.'
More specifically, a more established couple having a lot of interaction with a not yet, or new couple. And irritation abounds.

I'm fine with it so long as you don't want me to break up Spock/Uhura. If you want Kirk/McCoy or something, that should be fine. I've just never done slash before and feel like the interaction between two males would be different, you know? And even though I'm doing this for charity, I do want to make it worth your donation. But if you think I can pull it off, well - thanks for the vote of confidence then! Sounds like an interesting scenario - and potentially funny one - you are looking for!
