So I started locking my hair. I lasted about 6 weeks before I couldn't take it anymore. I had to wash my hair. And I missed my fro. Next to my house (more accurately, next to my row of townhouses)...probably about 100 feet away is a field. Not a huge field or anything...just a field....grass, a few trees.

Well, I made an appt yesterday with my hairdresser for starter locs. I have been talking about doing this for sometime, but I finally think I'm ready. I think DH will miss my 'fro, but he thinks I will look good with locs to. Tara is still in the hospital, but they have determined the problem to be a blockage and are trying to alleviate it. The baby is doing fine. Please still keep them in your prayers.

Still no word on Tara.  Still praying.

eta -- she hasn't had surgery yet, they are trying to make sure it's the right diagnosis because they don't want to go in with the risk of pre-term labor without a really good reason.  Please still keep her in your prayers because as I understand she's in some pain from the gall stones.

They can't tell me this was an innocent mistake:
