(no subject)
Next to my house (more accurately, next to my row of townhouses)...probably about 100 feet away is a field. Not a huge field or anything...just a field....grass, a few trees.
This morning I leave my house to go to work and I see a big sign (that was not there yesterday) and it says:
Future site of Community Fire/EMS Station.
Obviously I'm not happy. There were rumors of this for a few years, but now it seems like it's more than a rumor.
I immediately call DH and tell him it's time to move. Only problem is, there's no place for us to move. Looks like we are stuck. With a fire house next to us.
Someone told me to look on the bright side...my homeowner's insurance will go down. I'd bet money that it won't go down at all. And I will never be able to sell my house after this arrives.
