Well, it has been a while since I have posted... mostly because I have been mind boggling busy. The kitchen is now put together with cabinets up, and all appliances in place. We could not afford to replace them or the countertop, but I hardly care right now... it is just nice to be able to eat at home again. The living room work is basically done. ( Read more... )

Well, it was a long day. All of our stuff is moved out of our apartment and tomorrow is the last day we have it. So we need to turn in our keys, update our drivers' licenses, change some addresses, forward our mail, etc tomorrow. It took 6 hours to move everything... but it was done with minimal breakage. Well, it has been one year since our wedding, and twelve years we have been together... so we are taking the day off to celebrate. Painting until midnight is not something I am apparently young enough for to enjoy anymore... that or it is the not drinking as much caffiene thing.

Well, the upstairs drywall is almost finished. I have some more sanding to do... but it should be done in a few days... just in time to prime and have a big crew out on Sunday for painting.
