So, he did what he always did he found a nice corner and set himself up to watch. He was comfortable with watching, these human interactions were very revealing and quite fascinating. He didn't want to interact, he had done enough of that today for his tastes.
Of course, by staying he was going to have to interact. He knew that, but was hoping his quiet corner was going to escape that.

But the ceremony was over and now she had already pulled all the pins from her hair. It still looked pretty good, curvy and shiny, so she didn't think anyone would protest the change. Now she got to laugh, get some hugs and have fun.
She liked fun, like that she wasn't serving drinks this time and taking care of everyone. Today, Jo was going to have a good time and nothing was going to stop that. Unless Ruby needed something.

He saw Jo and limped over to her, leaning on his cane a bit while holding his champagne flute with the other.
"So, what's this I heard about you and my wife getting arrested last night?"

"Congratulations, Sammy. No one deserves it more than you and Ruby."
She really meant that. After all the crap they'd faced in their lives and in Ruby's case, after life, they should have the wedding and the marriage and the love.
