I missed seeing the kids dressed up for Halloween at school on Friday. One of advisees from last year dressed up as a zombie, and this week he brought in pictures for me to see him dressed up, then yesterday brought in the t-shirt he had distressed and bloodied up for his costume. i just finished throwing out ten years' worth of notes, articles, and binders. with very few exceptions, i tossed everything.

i feel so much lighter now.
