Why my job is awesome.
I missed seeing the kids dressed up for Halloween at school on Friday. One of advisees from last year dressed up as a zombie, and this week he brought in pictures for me to see him dressed up, then yesterday brought in the t-shirt he had distressed and bloodied up for his costume. (I was in my classroom during break at the time.)
When I went back to my office right before lunch, I discovered that he had added his shirt to my wall of decorations with a post-it note saying "Happy Halloween." I was incredibly touched, it was such a nice surprise.
