i feel so much lighter now.

i'm planning to leave b-town on may 31st. i can do the drive in a day, but i'm stretching it over three (getting the key to my new place on june 2nd). it will give me time to sight-see and maybe long good-byes that weekend.

that's not all i'm getting rid of. i'm doing a huge purge of all my stuff as part of the move. it's the perfect time to do it.

i feel so much better after pitching all those notebooks. now i have three empty storage tubs to use for other things. :)

Yeah, you remember how much stuff I got rid of, especially if you include taking stuff to Half-Price Books (which I definitely recommend, since I've had so much trouble getting rid of used books since moving). And now I have all this stuff accumulated again because of my mother's basement.

my sorting of stuff for half-price books isn't even done yet- i went through my dvds tonight, my books are a huge pile in the middle of my office floor, and my next big task is to go through my cds.

one of my new year's resolutions was to make myself materially and spiritual "lighter," and this has been perfect for keeping that resolution.

Yay!! I can't wait to hear the moving/job details!

And oh, I know getting rid of all that stuff feels sooooo good. I've been, for some reason, avoiding it since we've been in this house (although around New Year's Goodwill got about 5 decent sized boxes of stuff from us). I really need to start purging stuff again. I feel so... light when it's all done.
