Crowley's standing - no, loitering on the mound, tossing the ball nonchalantly from hand to hand as his eyes track Carlisle's approach to bat.
He'd identified the vampire at a glance, of course. The Paradoxes' captain might not be quite in the vein, ha ha, of most other vampires he's used to running into (the fact that he's out here in broad daylight playing baseball is testament enough to that), but nevertheless. Certain attributes never do seem to change, and it gives Crowley... well.
It gives him a ballpark.
The demon takes a moment, sweeping his foot back against the marker, to gauge distance, speed, and strength.

Having quietly observed the first few plays, Stitch's curiosity had deviated sometime during the beginning of this inning. Said curiosity had led to some impromptu exploratory surgery of one of the spare balls by the The Enigmas' bench. This had progressed in to a game of Cat's Cradle and had cumulated in a desperate attempt to disentangle himself from the ensuing snarl of yarn before anyone of importance noticed.
The alien pauses mid walk up to kick the last trailing remains of yarn off one leg before hoisting the bat in to position.

Despite a lack of experience in playing the game with out the use of kitchen utensils, dealing with supernaturally enhanced opponents, or facing off against anyone who isn't a small child; Stitch has one thing going for him: he has the smallest strike zone in the game. Still, probably not much of a challenge for Alice. Especially when one factors in the alien's enthusiasm with a bat.

Snake-strike fast: he winds and pitches.

Carlisle growls at himself, adjusting his stance and preparing himself for the next pitch.

"You have a little bit of yarn--" She breaks off as he shakes the last off. Smiling she tosses to the alien.
