All right, what've you got for me this time? says Gaeta's good-natured smirk as he falls in beside home plate.

Really, this is turning into the Battle of the Relief Pitchers.

There could be an epic movie score written about it.

Arnold would hate to bore Gaeta, so this time he starts out with a sublime curveball. It's a specialty of his.

Huh, that doesn't look like it's going to be that hard to --

Wait.

Wasn't the pitch supposed to end here and not over there?

(Gaeta has got to figure out how to throw something like that before the game's end.)

Swing and a miss for strike one, plus an impressed eyebrow raise in Arnold's direction.

Mwahahahaha. The curveball consternates all.

Arnold just smirks and winds up for pitch number two, which is a tame-in-comparison fastball.

Predictability: Gaeta likes that. For one thing, it lets him actually hit the ball.

Whap! Grounder between first and second.

He drops the bat and dashes down the first base line. It's a close call, but his foot plants on the base just before Knox, ball in hand, follows suit.

Safely ensconced, he tips his hat to Arnold with another smirk.

Raph makes it to second, and Leela crosses home, tying the game again at four runs each.

The Paradoxes don't manage to take the lead, though, before the top of the eighth ends.

And the Engimas send their short stop, Stitch, to kick off the bottom.
