Duo's pitching had been under extraterrestrial scrutiny throughout the bottom of the fourth. Stitch is a great many things, but one of them happens to be a quick study. And striking out in the bottom of the second appears to have given his attention span some serious motivation.
Stitch approaches the plate dragging the bat behind him before swinging it into position and regarding Duo through narrowed eyes.

It's faster than he'd imagined Stitch hitting.
(With anything other than his teeth, at least.)
Carlisle is positioned to catch it as soon as the arc comes closer to the ground, though. He promised himself he wouldn't jump to catch anything. Where's the challenge in that?

Stitch flings the bat aside and takes off for first, stumpy legs powering away amidst a great deal of huffing. He's making decent headway but his true speed lies outside bidpedal locomotion.
The second half of the game starts now, with the Paradoxes taking their places on the field, and the Enigmas once again coming to bat.

Duo manfully does not flip him off, and turns back around.

She stares at Raph, then Duo. And laughs.
"I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BOYS, BUT IT WAS DAMN GOOD FOR ME!"

"I'm gonna have to skim the ground to get into your strike zone!" Duo calls to him. "Will someone get the batter a box to stand on?"

The hit connects with Duo's first pitch.
"HA!" exults Stitch, dropping to all fours and lunging off the plate for first.
And promptly sails over the foul line.
The alien pulls at his lower eyelids on the way back, muttering darkly.

It would be in the strike zone if he was human sized? Er.

Stitch's snarl shifts, melting into a grin. He snickers.

And now for something completely different: a nice floater. It starts high and ends low, and is deceptively slow.
(Bugs Bunny struck out a whole team with one of these. Duo is sadly not that kind of cartoon character.)
