Today, in the first sitting of Parliment since Labour was elected in November, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd tabled a formal, bi-partisan, Apology to the Stolen Generations of Indigenous Australia.  It contains three unconditional uses of the word 'Sorry', that has been so hard to say for so long.

So apparently I'm iron deficient. Which is good I guess - that it isn't something worse. Couple more tests, but the doctor says I can start on iron tablets now. And in 3 weeks I'll get another blood test to see if things are improving ( Read more... )

Finally  went to the doctor yesterday after another killer headache. he doesn't know why i'm so tired lately or what is causing the headaches. so tomorrow morning i have a blood test. very icky. and if that is inconclsuive i get a CT scan of my head (oh here we go on the doctor merrygoround again). i shouldn't be sarcastic, i've got my fingers ( Read more... )

today is almost over so 2.5 hours left
plus 5 x 8
DN&A = 42.5

Woolies is 22 x 2 = 44

and Oxfam is 4 x 2 = 8

So 54.5 hours of work until Japan.

Hell yes.

And 6 days till my epic 13 days work finish and I get a day off.
