(no subject)
So apparently I'm iron deficient. Which is good I guess - that it isn't something worse. Couple more tests, but the doctor says I can start on iron tablets now. And in 3 weeks I'll get another blood test to see if things are improving.
In more happy, less doctory news, I got a new laptop!!!! It is gorgeous and fast and shiny and I love it very much. I did figure out that my old one was almost 5 years old - so I guess its not surprising it was showing its age. It got me through Europe though, so I should be grateful - we had good times together.
Brendan The Copycat also as bought a laptop which is equally, if differently, shiny and he is having fun playing iwth it as well.
Other than that Honours starts in less than two weeks and I don't know who my Supervisor is yet, and still haven't done any serious work. Well got some notes and authors I want to chase up. I just feel a bit floating until it all settles down I guess.
Tomorrow I go to Centrelink to prove I need the government to help me through Honours. SUCH a stupid website, really frustrating me, but I'm holding my frustration in because I really need to get it. Got all my myriad of documents ready to go in. So hopefully that will all go ok.
