Generally I don't regret the things I've done with my life. I see them as character building. The only time I really wish I'd done things different is when I get sick. I'm doing a series of photos of young women posing in abandoned buildings. I came up with the idea after Jackie and I did our photo shoot for the photo show (which I didn't end up getting to enter because I couldn't get it mounted in time). I'm entering a picture in the OCC student photo show. I took a shot of Jackie in a white slip holding a crucifix sitting dejectedly on a floor in a wrecked room in Detroit while behind her on the wall are the words "God has left Detroit." Looks like a got a job. Deli clerk at Ferndale Foods on 9 Mile. It's exciting and scary to think that I'll finally be working again. I can get my phone turned back on, pay back all the money I owe, finally get my tattoo, start putting some money away. Maybe I can even think about starting to drive again.
