You know, amidst the pokemon and the (strangely earnest) futadranei and the tits that could star in Wicked, what really got me was 'bastardess.'
I mean,
I know gender-specifying words in horrible ways is a time-honored tradition of the roleplaying community
but
BASTARDESS.

Just...what??? There are SEVERAL letters in that pronunciation that are not in the original name. Even FRENCH* doesn't do that to people, and it's FRENCH*. The language of a hundred extra letters in words just to confuse people trying to read it. >:|
*I actually have nothing against French or French people. I have met some really nice French Canadians.

Usually, if a word ends in a consonant, that consonant will be silent (there are exceptions, but eh) and quite a few words just leave out the last three letters or so.
(That said, the pronounciation key on that name is pretty ridiculous.)
AND NOW YOU KNOW.

The futanei... I don't know, guys. It doesn't mention a two-foot cock constantly excreting unlikely substances into a slop bucket tied to a mindslave. Actually it's really quite un-ERP-y. It reads to me more like someone interested in the whole transwhatever/genderbender concept than a MASSIVE SPACEGOAT FUTACOCK ERPER EWWWW.
...Whether they're doing it well or not is a different question entirely. I could do without the abusive husband, perhaps. Not to mention the whole bit about growing up in the Exodar >.>

Except then s/he complains about how the people on Azeroth are too focused on gender and not on ~people~. So if it's supposedly not a big deal to their culture, why would they need a sex change...?

Needs paragraphing because the teeny text hurts to read and the consortium shit (I guess 'set upon' means a bunch of mad scientists attacked them n' gave them surgery against their will?) really needs more explanation. Why did they do that? What's the profit in it for them? Why implants? How did this not end badly? Why is their husband abusive? Yes, not everyone of x race is the same but with races like draenei you need a damn good reason for why they turned out iffy. If those parents marry off their kids for political power and presumably lineage then how did their husband get to marry them? They're referred to as a 'soft, quiet man' by someone earlier in the story so I guess they were male-bodied back then unless they were open about being trans or something.
Srry if I'm effing up on trans issues somewhere. And then I read 'she' in their Home tab and feel more
